Floor pans and Minitub

The Chevy II sat in my garage in Yuba City for a couple of years. I did a little work on floorpans and minitub. The garage was small but I had just enough room to walk around the car.










First order of business-- Vacuum up 40 plus years of rusted crud.












Fred Flintstone may approve but this just isn't going to cut it for me. "Oh look, there goes some road kill"







































I cut out the inner wheel wells and moved them in 1.75 inches on each side. If this car ever does run I will be able to put that much more tire under it.
























I had to modify and reweld the trunk lid attachment points onto the inner fender well.












Left side is the same as right. The shape is different because of the filler neck for the gas tank.
